- Add… is where you add new deals to your portfolio(s) either manually, using a template or importing from MS Excel.
- Portfolios allows you to create, edit or delete portfolios; add reference information; group data and create back-ups. In order for your portfolio to appear in reporting you must activate it here.
- Report allows you to view a range of standard reports on your portfolio(s); customize your own and run comparisons between different hedging strategies. Hedge accounting is also contained in this section.

- Settings allows you to change passwords and default currencies.
- User Manager (visible only to ‘super’ users) which allows you to grant access; set usage and viewing rights; view audit trails and delete users. If someone forgets their password it can reset it here.
- Market Data contains current and future Interest Rate, FX and Commodity prices from Reuters. These are updated 5x daily. This section also allows you to customise your own future rates and see how it affects your portfolio(s).
- Networking allows you to invite a colleague or advisor to review your portfolio; share your workspace with another user or view someone else’s workspace. This is useful for exchanging information and multi-location users .
Asset Classes
sals.a® displays deals on an asset class basis. If a portfolio contains more than one class you must click on the appropriate icon to view these deals (although they all appear in reporting).
